Message from the President…..

First of all, I would like to thank all the members who have given me this opportunity to serve the Massachusetts Quarter Horse Association as the President. We are extremely fortunate to have a terrific Board of Directors this year. They share my desired to make 2013 an exciting year filled with opportunities to promote the American Quarter Horse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Many of the planned activities this year are already moving forward and for that, I thank the volunteers that contribute to the success of MassQHA.

Finally, I’m asking every one of the members to get involved; join a subcommittee, be a MassQHA ambassador at the shows, meetings, or trail rides, and offer suggestions to improve the experience of all the members.

We will be selling $10 squares at the Spring Show in May to raise money for the 2013 scholarships. Everyone who buys a square is guaranteed to win a prize, so please help support the MassQHA Scholarship fund!

MassQHA is looking for members to serve on committees for 2013! Many of you have great ideas for our events – now’s your chance to make a positive change for the club! We have immediate openings for committee members on our show, trail ride, clinic, and fundraising committees.
